Why do you need my date of birth?

There are 3 reasons why we ask for your date of birth when you are registering as a pet owner. 

1) In the UK you have to be 16 before you can legally own an animal.

2) To be eligible for the 4 weeks of free pet insurance with Agria you need to be 18+. 

3) If you call us to make any changes, we can use your date of birth to verify you before proceeding. 

However, if you are not comfortable with giving us your date of birth, please feel free to call us and inform us of this but please be aware that any changes to your details would then need to be done online from within your account and not over the phone.
